AARIF LLC ("Wajda," "we," "our," or "us") respects the privacy of individuals who use the Wajda platform. Our Services are used by two types of users: restaurants (independent food businesses that use Wajda to operate their branded ordering pages) and customers (individuals who place delivery orders through those pages). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about both. By using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Our Services are intended for use within the United States only. We do not knowingly market to or collect personal data from individuals located outside the United States.


1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide to Us

When you place an order. When you place a delivery order through a restaurant's Wajda-powered ordering page, we collect the information you provide, including your full name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and the details of your order (items, quantities, special instructions, and order total).

When you register as a restaurant. If you sign up to use Wajda as a restaurant operator, we collect the information you provide during registration and ongoing use of the platform. This includes your full name, email address, phone number, business name, and business address. We also collect your menu content, including categories, items, descriptions, pricing, and any photos you upload. Your bank account information for payout purposes is collected and handled directly by Stripe Connect and is not stored by Wajda.

When you contact us. If you reach out to us for support or with a question, we collect your full name, email address, and any information you choose to include in your message.

B. Information We Collect Automatically

Device and usage information. When you access our Services, we automatically collect information about your device and how you interact with our platform. This includes your IP address, browser type, operating system, and the pages you visit.

Cookies and similar technologies. We use session and functional cookies that are necessary to operate the Services — for example, to remember items in your cart or your previously entered delivery details to make reordering faster. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking purposes. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended.


2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process, fulfill, and confirm delivery orders placed by customers
  • Share delivery details with the relevant restaurant and delivery provider
  • Send customers order confirmations and updates via email and SMS
  • Set up, maintain, and support restaurant accounts on the platform
  • Power restaurant-facing features including menu management, order management, and analytics
  • Send restaurants order notifications via SMS and push notifications
  • Process restaurant payouts through Stripe Connect
  • Respond to questions or support requests from both customers and restaurants
  • Improve the performance and reliability of our Services
  • Detect and prevent fraud or misuse of our platform
  • Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only as described below.

Restaurants. When you place an order, we share your full name, phone number, delivery address, and order details with the restaurant you ordered from. The restaurant uses this information to prepare and manage your order.

Delivery providers. To fulfill delivery orders, we share your full name, phone number, and delivery address with our third-party delivery providers.

Service providers. We work with trusted third-party companies that help us operate the Services. These providers have access to your personal information only to the extent necessary to perform their services on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for any other purpose. Our current service providers include:

  • Stripe — payment processing for customer orders and payout processing for restaurants via Stripe Connect (Stripe Privacy Policy). We do not store payment card information or restaurant banking details. All such financial data is handled directly by Stripe.
  • Twilio — SMS order notifications
  • Resend — email order confirmations
  • DoorDash Drive — delivery fulfillment
  • Supabase — secure cloud database hosting
  • Vercel — platform hosting and infrastructure

Legal compliance. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Wajda, our users, or others.

Business transfers. If AARIF LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change and any choices you may have regarding your information.


4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with our legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Order records are typically retained for up to three (3) years. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see Section 6).


5. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on our systems. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


6. Your Rights and Choices

Access and correction. You may request access to the personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct inaccurate information by contacting us at the details below.

Deletion. You may request that we delete your personal information. We will honor such requests to the extent permitted by law and consistent with our operational and legal obligations.

Opt-out of SMS. If you receive SMS notifications from us, you may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.

Opt-out of email. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link included in those messages. Transactional emails (such as order confirmations) cannot be opted out of while you have an active order.

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you specific rights regarding your personal information.

Right to know. You have the right to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources from which we collected it, the purposes for which we use it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.

Right to delete. You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.

Right to non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting a notice on our platform or by sending you an email.
